History

The department of automatic security systems and information technologies was created in 2009 on the basis of the department of technological and fire automation and the department of information technologies and control systems.

Until 2020, the head of the department was candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Derevyanko.
