Doroshenko Daria

The 2019 issue

I am the lieutenant of the civil defense service Doroshenko Daria. Now I pass service in the post of the specialist of the sector of control over especially important objects and new buildings of the center of maintenance of activity of the Main Directorate of SES of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.

Remembering my alma mater, I cannot hide a warm smile, because after 6 years of study, the university really became a native. I have nothing to compare with, because we were the first cadet of girls. Then, in July 2014, after passing the exam, I was waiting for something new and incomprehensible to me - a young fighter course. From the first days, I realized that for a girl I chose not a typical profession, but I was confident in my abilities, and that experienced commanders would support me. It happened.

From the first year I took an active public position, was elected chairman of the student council of the course. This post has taught me the communicative and business skills I needed in my future profession. She also proved herself as a hard-working student, confirming her excellence in studies (receiving honors degree), and has repeatedly participated in various Olympiads and scientific competitions. And all this is due to the high level of teaching staff. In practice in garrisons (after the 3rd year), I was finally convinced of the correctness of my chosen profession, so further training did not cause me difficulties.

I want to emphasize the cohesion and self-sacrifice of the cadets. Only here you will find so many like-minded people and friends.

Today I am grateful for the high level of professional preparation, so I can confidently say that I am a worthy employee of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The 2019 issue

I am the lieutenant of the civil defense service Svetashov Vadim Nikolaevich. I am currently serving as Inspector of 24 SCRC of the Directorate of the SES in Sumy Oblast. Now, working in the garrison, I think of my home university with a smile. Becoming me as a cadet at the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine began in August 2014, during a two-week young fighter training course at the training ground. Even then, I realized that my chosen profession needed high moral and willpower qualities, so I honestly obeyed the orders of commanders and tried to get used to new living conditions. Subsequently, training began, we learned the basics of the future profession. The classes were rich and interesting, especially in the practical disciplines, which is an indicator of a high material and teaching base.

For the diligence and discipline at the end of the 2nd year I was appointed a senior of the course of the faculty of fire safety. It also helped me in my future profession, as this post taught me the basics of communication with subordinates, brought up a commanding character, taught me to make decisions quickly and responsibly.
Now you do not remember everything, but in general you only remember the best moments, and there were more during the cadet training.

So, I am very grateful to our university, because I can proudly say that I am a graduate of the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine, and I can confidently say that only here can train professional staff for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
